Hi! I'm
Staff Product Engineer
Nine years building healthcare products end to end. Studying statistics and computational social science to be more rigorous about provenance and model evaluation. The evidence underneath the product, not the product.
About Me
I've spent about nine years as an early or founding engineer at healthcare startups, working extensively across the stack. What I've gotten passionate about is pressure-testing whether a requirement is actually supported by evidence, and defining what success is supposed to look like before we ship rather than after.
Lately that's pulled me deeper into the data side: measurement design, statistical methods, evaluating LLM output against human baselines, and optimizing production prompts from real usage data.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me underneath a barbell, reading a book, or urban hiking.

2022 — Present
Launched two cross-platform healthcare products from zero to one as the lead of a team of five. After years deep in the frontend, I've come back to the backend: now focusing on LLM orchestration, observability, and data analytics.

2021
Joined Steady as a founding engineer building cross-platform care tools: data visualization for clinicians and a mobile app for patients. After the acquisition, rebuilt the product into Carbon's React Native EHR and deepened into data visualization, mobile release management, and shipping quality code at velocity.

An early engineer learning the full stack in a fast environment. Took on deeply technical frontend work on the clinic-facing React app that powered the sales motion and generated its own revenue. This is where my love of frontend architecture began.
